Initial Visit
Initial Visit

Our initial free visit gives us a chance to hear your ideas and requirements. We will look at the site and its surroundings. This meeting will enable us to provide you with a estimate outlining our design fees.

Survey
Survey

Once we have been instructed and the design brief has been agreed we will return to survey the site.

The survey enables us to draw up a site plan to scale, recording the buildings, boundaries, levels and any features.

This also gives us an opportunity to examine the area in more detail and gather the information required for a site analysis.

Concept Plan
Concept Plan

The concept plan shows the design of the new garden, detailing areas of hard landscaping, planting and features. It is a discussion document permitting us to present our ideas and to receive client input allowing for amendments.

Setting Out Plan

The final agreed plan incorporates any amendments made to the concept plan. It is produced to scale and gives materials and layout detail.

A setting out plan and construction drawing giving technical detail may be necessary for contractors to build the garden.

Planting Schemes

Planting is of equal importance to the design of the completed garden. The style of planting will enhance the garden and will include your own preferences, taking into account local conditions such as soil type, aspect and microclimate. The planting will provide structure, texture and colour to the overall project.

The detailed plan will show the position and names of each plant as well as quantities.

Project Monitoring
